Senior Project Manager (Public Sector / Consultancy)

I am looking for an experienced Project Management Professional with minimum 5 years' experience, to join a growing team within a world-renowned construction consultancy on major public-sector projects within central London.

You will have the opportunity to further develop your career within the organisation, and you'll be part of a collaborative team where your skills and relevant expertise will guide each project to a successful completion.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:


·To support the Regional Director of Project Management in the development and growth of project management throughout the region.
·To take ownership for the successful delivery of projects; giving leadership and direction to the team, managing design teams, effectively communicating with all parties, identify and manage the risks, planning and progress monitoring, development of appropriate project controls,
·To assure the performance of the project team on project delivery to meet agreed profit and client satisfaction objectives.
·To champion excellent health and safety practice and manage Project Management commissions to achieve safe, sustainable and efficient outcomes that meet agreed objectives


Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

·Essential qualification: full member of an appropriate professional institution (CIOB, APM, RICS)
·Highly desirable A University degree in a construction, design or related discipline Essential Knowledge, understanding and experience of providing project management services on building projects involving new-build and refurbishment work with a minimum value of £20m+ construction cost
·Highly desirable knowledge, understanding and experience of advising on structured project control process
·Highly desirable sectors for experience: education projects, particularly University projects, and / or public-sector project experience.
·Experience, working either as a client, consultant or contractor, in public and/or private sector environments.
·Must have spent 3 years out of the last 5 years within the UK.

·Highly competitive salary - £55-65,000 (basic)
