Our client is a well established industrial manufacturer who produce metal furniture products that are second to none. They have a well established customer base and are currently looking to expand their business, as such they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand and develop their business across the North. Ideally they are looking for a Sales Manager who has worked on metal furniture, cubicles or other associated metal office products, experience dealing with clients in the construction industry would be a distinct advantage.


  • Responsible for the growth of the business across the region in the industrial, commercial & construction markets
  • Formulate sales and marketing strategies in order to achieve agreed targets
  • Establishing sales plans with junior staff, setting them agreed targets
  • Negotiating prices and orders, reviewing as appropriate
  • Liaising with Estimating team to ensure that the product and service will be up to customer expectation, within agreed terms
  • Client and customer liaison
  • Establishing new, reaffirming existing and rekindling old business relationships
  • Reporting to board of directors
  • Managing 2-3 Area Sales Managers

Experience Required

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • A proven track record in sales is essential with the confidence and ability to establish relationships
  • A technical understanding in terms of sales in the industrial / construction / commercial markets selling metal furniture / office cubicles is essential
