Gas Compliance and Contracts Manager Job - North Wales
My client are currently looking to appoint a Gas Compliance and Contracts Manager, Housing, for a rolling contract initially. There is a possibility that the contract will be extended or be advertised on a permanent basis after this initial period.
You will be required to ensure that this public sector organisation meets all their statutory and regulatory duties in respect of its Asset Management function particularly with respect to Gas primarily but also with Legionella and Asbestos.
You will be required to look at a range of servicing and installation issues and challenge contractors about their performance and compliance and also provide technical support and guidance to the in-house DLO Gas team who were tupe transferred from an external organisation in 2010.
Candidates must have;
Qualified (not accredited, in an engineering discipline, ideally gas, preferably with relevant ACs)
Experience in process and systems thinking
H&S experience, management preferably
Experience in auditing/quality control and managing it.
Managerial experience within reactive maintenance and with managing contractors
Social housing experience
Manage, monitor and record all data, maintaining detailed records of all gas components and services Ensure that colleagues and contractors are aware of and implement Policy and Procedure with regard to Gas Servicing and the No Access procedure contained within, monitoring all aspects of this Maintain, as a minimum, the last two years Landlord Gas safety Certificates in a manner that certificates can quickly be present, ensuring that all certificates comply with Regulation 36
