Mr Jordi Carol
Job Type
In this role you will be required to procure good quality temporary accommodation, at a cost that provides value for money, in order to enable this London Borough to meet its statutory obligations towards homeless people and to have easy access to a plentiful supply of suitable temporary accommodation. You will ensure compliance with the Borough`s contract conditions by responding promptly to complaints about serious disrepair and housing-related nuisance, helping the Tenancy Support Officers to enforce the contract conditions and ensuring that, when properties are handed back, they are returned in a good condition and on time. On a day-to-day basis you will carry out a range of property related tasks (including surveys, valuations, contract negotiations and the procurement, renewal and termination of leases and settling dilapidations claims). In addition you will contribute to the monitoring of local rent levels and the setting of accommodation rent bands for the full range of temporary accommodation procured.
