Marketing/Business Development Executive

Autonomous and motivated in role        

Knowledge of construction industry and client base


Typical work activities  

  • liaising and networking with a range of clients and organisations;
  • communicating with target audiences and managing relationships;
  • sourcing tender, contract and lead opportunities and following up on opportunities, and local/regional knowledge;
  • Undertaking and analysing web based searches, i.e. OJEU, TED’s, ABI/Glenigan, client websites; 
  • producing marketing materials, i.e. case studies, newsletters, e-newsletters company website information, etc.;
  • writing, assisting and proof-reading PQQ and tender submissions;
  • liaising with regional staff;
  • arranging and attending client development meetings and client based activities;
  • arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • maintaining and updating customer databases, including weekly marketing reports, i.e. leads, contacts, opportunities, and tenders;
  • organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
  • conducting market research such as client feedback questionnaires;
  • contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
  • managing marketing budgets;
  • monitoring competitor activity and highlighting areas of interest;
  • supporting the Regional Business Development Manager and other colleagues;
  • define/identify key target sectors for growth.
