A well-established and award winning construction and facilities provider are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in Coventry/Warwickshire to lead a successful Projects team in Facilities. Your new role
As a Senior Project Manager on a hospital site you will take overall responsibility for projects; life cycle, small works and variations whilst maintaining and developing effective working relationships with the customer. You will lead a team of approximately 7 people ensuring that projects are completed on time. You will manage the customer's expectations whilst the projects are underway. You will revisit the current policies in place and may need to redesign these. You will ensure your team are kept up to date with training and are developed to their fullest potential. As part of the Senior Management team you will attend regular meetings with the rest of the Senior Facilities Management Team.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will have proven experience in leading a project team. You will be a member of a professional body within Construction & Property i.e BIFM, RICS, CIOB. You will also hold a qualification in Project Management of some sort. You will be confident in your communication skills and will be able to represent the organisation well. You will be able to identify risks and ensure action is put into place where necessary. It will be an advantage if you have worked on a PFI contract previously.
