Establish Mechanical Contractor in Hampshire based seeking a Mechanical contracts Manager

Your new role
You will be overseeing the life cycle of projects, from inception to completion, and ensuring that client's requirements are met on schedule and within budget as well as overseeing more Junior Project Managers. You will report to the contracts director. Also you will need to make sure the quality of installed works meets the standard of the project specification. Projects will be between £100k to £2m M&E

You will carry out various new installations, ranging from new plant room installations at Universities and Schools, Air conditioning systems to new offices, underfloor heating systems and refurbishment and conversion projects. You will also be involved working within occupied premises such as hospitals, institutions, doctors surgeries and retirement homes and as such you will need to have an understanding and able to take a sensitive approach carrying out tasks around the ever changing need of the staff and patients.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to have a Mechanical background with experience on M&E projects. Strong communication skills are a must to liaise with the client, and work effectively with colleagues. As a Manager you will also need to lead from the front and able to display your leadership skills and import knowledge to site staff. It is essential that you have experience managing projects within the UK. CSCS is essential as well one of the SMSTS, or SSSTS is preferred.

What you'll get in return
This is a permanent position and you'll get a salary of up to £55k + Car and the opportunity to work for a well-established M&E contractor on a range of exciting projects.
